The Muslim World League Strongly Condemns Iran’s Attacks in Gulf
The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned on Tuesday “the continued treacherous and indiscriminate Iranian” attacks against Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region.
In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Mohammed Al-Issa slammed the Iranian aggression against peaceful neighbouring countries.
He described Tehran’s actions as a “terrorism and corruption” that “violate religious values, international and humanitarian laws, and bilateral agreements, and breach the principles of good neighborliness.”
Saudi Arabia: 5 Hostile Drones Intercepted Near Prince Sultan Air Base
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense spokesperson, Major General Turki al-Malki, announced on Monday the interception of five hostile drones near the Prince Sultan Air Base.
Earlier, he announced that two drones were intercepted and destroyed after attempting to target the Ras Tanura refinery, confirming the attack was successfully thwarted.
Al-Malki added that no civilian casualties were reported as a result of the interception. He noted that a limited fire broke out inside the refinery due to falling debris but was quickly brought under control.
He added that the interception led to debris falling close to civilian facilities and residential areas.
Some operational units at the refinery were shut down as a precautionary measure, without any impact on the supply of petroleum products to local markets, an official source at the Ministry of Energy said.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its strongest rejection and condemnation of the blatant and cowardly Iranian attacks targeting Riyadh and Eastern regions, all of which were repelled.
The Kingdom emphasized that these attacks cannot be justified under any pretext, especially as they occurred despite Iranian authorities' full awareness that Saudi Arabia had affirmed it would not allow its airspace or territory to be used to target Iran.
In light of this unjustified aggression, the Kingdom affirmed that it will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territory, citizens, and residents, including the option of responding to the aggression, SPA reported.
Earlier, the Kingdom’s foreign ministry said in a statement that it strongly condemns Iran’s “heinous” attack and “flagrant violation” of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.

It called for “firm measures to confront the Iranian violations that undermine the region’s security and stability.”
Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns Iran Attack on US Embassy in Riyadh, Reserves Right to Respond
Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Tuesday an Iranian attack targeting the US embassy in Riyadh, and stressed it reserved the right to respond, a foreign ministry statement said.
The Kingdom reaffirmed its full right to take all necessary measures to defend its security and vital interests, including the option of responding to any aggression, the statement said.
It slammed the attack as a “flagrant violation of international law and norms, including the 1949 Geneva Conventions and 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.”
Saudi Arabia said Iran “acted this blatantly despite knowing that the Kingdom has confirmed that it will not allow the use of its airspace and territory to target Iran.” It warned that Iran’s attacks in the region could lead the region towards more escalation.
It stressed that it reserved the right to take all measures to protect its security, territories and safety of its citizens, residents and vital interests.
Iran struck the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia’s capital with two drones early Tuesday, said the Kingdom’s Defence Ministry spokesman Turki al-Malki.
The attack caused a limited fire and minor damage to the building, he added.
